What conditions are to be met for the event to be succesful?

Would be nice if we could list what actions does trigger an event completion. I've tried using siege, repairing, killing outside the tower, but none of these worked. But sometimes I get the gold event completion when I've just passed near one. Maybe someone has better insight of it to post it.
