Reference to The King's Speech[edit]
The Queen's/King's Speech is a regular event in the United Kingdom. I highly doubt the name of this release references that film in particular. 67.85.231.61 08:04, 17 August 2013 (UTC)
- The title of that movie is almost certainly meant to refer to the "speech from the throne" the OP mentions, but I think it's likely that Americans are much more familiar with the film. As well read as the story tellers at ANet might be, I think it's more likely they thought of the movie first and were gratified to learn that the name turned out to be even more fitting than they could have wished. - I have adapted the trivia note. It is supposition to say that Anet was inspired by the film or to infer any probability of this fact. I have therefore changed the wording to reflect that it "could" be the source of this title. The etymology of the term itself however is directly relevant, especially with its use in commonwealth countries and thus I have slightly adapted the second part of the note to focus more on the origination of the actual term, rather than its possible connection with a movie. I personally feel reference to the movie shouldn't be in the note at all, as again its too much towards conjecture but the wiki has always took a relatively laid back approach to Trivia and thus my adaptation to "could", rather than a complete re-editing of the note. -- Salome

Gem Store Items[edit]
Theres no mention of items on the gem store on the release page... There is a GOOD chance of it happening, but I think I'll put a note on it to say that its not yet confirmed (or did a dev post about it?).A Liability (talk) 18:10, 19 August 2013 (UTC)
- from what ive read they aren't planning new store items. It seems instead they are opting for 10 days of sales bringing back items that were once previously available but no longer are. -- Salome 13:23, 20 August 2013 (UTC)
