I'm not too sure. Certain obscure skills, like pet skills or stolen skills don't always get the TLC they need for their tooltips. Best bet is to bring this to Anet's attention on the forums; it'll be lower on their priority, but maybe they can get to it when doing a sweep of things after the PoF launch.
