Talk:Armorer Ferratus Blightaxe

Mr Blightaxe is no kind of merchant for me. He would chat with me but I could not persuade him to sell me anything. He's not a renown heart either and therefore doesn't turn into a Karma merchant. The nearest of these is Crucibis Forgeweld but he has no Charr weapons (apart from an Iron Legion shield) or recipes to sell. Neither these guys, nor Lakor Grizzlemouth have been able to help me solve my little quest to find out how to make the Charr weapons that this wiki and the gw2db 'say' we (huntsmen) can (with only 6 green wood planks and a Mighty Bronze-plated inscription apparently). I suppose I'll have to give up: it must have been a beta thing that's still referenced here. I just wanted something different to level up my huntsmanship with, but I could have gained quite a few levels in the time it's taken me to reach this conclusion! :o 79.67.235.241 06:05, 4 October 2012 (UTC) ~Lya

I have just finished the event Reclaim the armory from the Flame Legion to test if Armorer Ferratus Blightaxe turns into a karma merchant for me afterwards and he definitely did not, so that sentence should probably be deleted unless anyone knows how to turn him into a merchant after all? The craftable charr weapons exist for sure, though, and the recipes can be bought from different heart NPCs in Diessa Plateau, for example from Rak Deathmane who sells the recipes for the two bows.
