I spent several hours trying to figure out how to get the item id from the link code. [&AgFgAAEA] <- this is the in-game link code. I would be a very big help to this wiki and the community of gw2 in general if someone could teach me how to convert or give me a converter that works, cus i have tried meny methods and converters now. Edit: I figured out how to make the code you get from the game (when you use /wiki Linked Item) to work, but when i take the code that appears on wiki and puts it in game i get Rampager's Sneakthief Mask...-- Panzerov

The chat links changed a bit since the last update and so far nobody updated our things yet. The search will now again report the correct ID for these items, which is 65632 in this case. The generated chat links are still broken, I’ll fix those in a moment. poke | talk 00:53, 22 April 2014 (UTC)
The code is now being correctly generated again. Sorry for the inconvenience. poke | talk 01:20, 22 April 2014 (UTC)

By linking the item ingame it generates the link code [&AgFgAAEA] not the one that the item has currently, and thus when you link the item using (/wiki shift+click) in game it doesn't take ou to the item. It only takes you to a page saying >> [&AgFgAAEA]There is no article linked with this ID (96) yet. If you know what item this chat link links to, please add the ID to the article or create it if it does not exist yet. << -- Panzerov

Please make sure you refresh the page (try CTRL+F5 if that doesn’t help). The chat link that is now being displayed in the infobox is [&AgFgAAEAAAA=] and that one will work correctly. poke | talk 01:27, 22 April 2014 (UTC)

Yes, it does work correctly, and if i try to use it in game it shows the right item, but if i do a wiki search from the ingame chat by linking the actual item it says the item does not exist. The actual ingame item gievs a different link code and thus does not link to this wiki page :/ -- Panzerov

If you do a CTRL+F5 on the search page, it should work. poke | talk 01:43, 22 April 2014 (UTC)

Ah, you are right, my bad. I thought you meant i should ctrl+f5 the item page, not the search page. Thanks alot for helping with this issue and sorry for being dense :) -- Panzerov
