My guild found the Veteran Karka containing Ander near Canach's Folly. After the Karka was killed, Ander remained at the spot the Karka was killed (not moving at all despite no one talking to him) for about five minutes, and then reset. --Cevon9780 03:13, 10 March 2013 (UTC)
I've seen the Veteran Karka in 2 places previously: at Canach's Folly as mentioned above, and at the upper entrance to the karka hive. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 218.186.18.236 (talk) at 14:58, 10 March 2013 (UTC).

The current map is pretty useless. He can spawn from any Veteran Karka. For example in Driftglass Springs. —Kvothe (talk) 23:19, 24 April 2019 (UTC)
