Spinal Blades
Spinal Blades refers to a series of back items that can be created in the mystic forge using materials obtained during Escape from Lion's Arch and Battle for Lion's Arch. After creating the first step, the Spinal Blade Pack, which has no blades, players can upgrade it numerous times in the mystic forge, with each upgrade adding another pair of blades, up until Tempered Spinal Blades. Upgrades after that either infuse the item, color it, or both, but no more blades are added after this point. Players intent on upgrading all the way to a colored infused version should note that they can skip an upgrade step, and save some money, by coloring and infusing Tempered Spinal Blades with the same recipe. Every back item created comes without stats, and a prefix must be selected before it can be used.
