Revert wars[edit]
Ok so, let's stop this and talk. To me the version from NIN37 is better due to no background blur and no odd-looking shadow/aura around the npc. Other people's thoughts? -Darqam 19:16, 10 November 2017 (UTC)
- Hey guys, just leave this screenshot at whatever it is right now, and take a new one once she moves to a nice location which doesn't look like vomit.
- Wishlist:
- Shiny, bright location
- High texture resolution
- No background blurring
- Non-beanpole aspect ratio (i.e. something like 3:4, or 9:16, not 1:10)

- I'm not touching this week's picture anymore. By the way, I did not revert any change, just uploaded two similar pictures: one without weapons, other with two pistols. And did not see the revert made mid-while, as it took me some time to get second picture. For some reason, Elisa usually spawns weapons-less for me, as it can be seen in both Forum Highlands and The Scourgeway screenshots.
- This would be much easier if original picture (from Sep 24 by Teletric) was already great, with daylight and no postprocessing... There would be no need to replace it and have all these issues with camera angle, lighting and background contrast. :P
- Anyway, this week's location is not optimal: although there's enough room to position your character in front of Elisa and take a decent picture, background has similar color to NPC's clothing and sandstorm effects keeps popping up from time to time, leaving a lot of shiny particles around her. Also NPCs keep looking around and blinking at worst times possible), plus the sky is too bright, compared to her.
- About beanpole aspect ratio, I'm used to take screenshots cropped to just show the subject in question, because that's how most pictures I've seen here look like, and adding too much 'blank' space makes the thumbnail harder to see. But if there's a consensus about they looking better with default screen resolution ratio, then I'll start uploading 3:4 or 9:16 pictures. --NIN37 00:43, 11 November 2017 (UTC)
- The general formatting for pictures is to crop out extra space, so yeah, the "beanpole" ratio is the general format for NPCs. - Doodleplex 00:48, 11 November 2017 (UTC)
