So...what classes as a stub in this section? -- Xu Davella 10:04, 29 March 2011 (UTC)
- It would seem almost everything. Should we have a discussion on what vital information ArenaNet staff member articles require to be considered "complete"? - Infinite - talk 12:05, 29 March 2011 (UTC)
- For some of them, there isn't any other info out there that I've found, or what isn't already mentioned on GWW. Best bet is to get them to write their own articles...fat chance. :P -- Xu Davella 13:10, 29 March 2011 (UTC)
- I was thinking that exact same thing. :P - Infinite - talk 14:12, 29 March 2011 (UTC)
- I reckon that in order to remove the stub, we'd need their name, their position and how long they've been employed for. A little bit of background history i.e. education and other history relevant to their position, like working for another gaming company. And then maybe some external links for further reading. That wouldn't expand the article too much, but that's plenty of information right there. --Xu Davella 13:09, 19 April 2011 (UTC)
- "i.e. education" -- no.
- Also I'd argue non-stubs don't need that much. Just'
- Homer Simpson joined ArenaNet during the year ___. He works as _______. His previous positions in the company are ____. On the original Guild Wars he worked as a ____.
- He also likes doing ____ in his spare time, and has a pet goldfish named AWF. Which stands for "Away From Fishtank'"; a reference to the important and highly popular GW2W contributor A F K.
- A little background, yeah. But I wouldn't delve down into education, etc. Anything non-Guild Wars 2 is basically filler because otherwise we've a two line stub. No need to butt heads with their Wikipedia article. A F K When Needed 15:19, 19 April 2011 (UTC)
- Yeah that's a good idea. What about external links, should we list those as well? --Xu Davella 08:19, 22 April 2011 (UTC)
- Depends on the link, I guess. A F K When Needed 08:36, 22 April 2011 (UTC)
- So uh... before we had this conversation, I kinda already did the stuff that will probably need to be edited out. Only on this article though. But those are the kind of links I'm talking about. --Xu Davella 08:43, 22 April 2011 (UTC)

(Reset indent) Any thoughts on how to approach articles on employees that don't author but are featured like Eric Rane and Jared Chavez? To be honest, I mostly ask in the case that there might be a preference for something less... pin-up/Matrix image as the bulk of content on any potential pages ;). Redshift 14:00, 5 June 2012 (UTC)
