Ok so I've just hit the writers block Q.Q --you like that don't you..The Holy Dragons 16:58, 19 July 2011 (UTC)

If I give you a range of topics to think about, that should spark out your writer's block. Let's see....Orange ponies on a microwave-stained wall of glycerin and marmalade expulsions that portray wobbly male paternal officials ranging from obtuse hieroglyphs and wind-struck tree stumps on a sea shore moaning against poetic hammers of corrupted apple pies that have been sitting on a broken window-sill for a few hours in every other day except twenty one seconds before the fifth month of the year pigs were no longer Chinese, but universally accepted into university. --Xu Davella 17:06, 19 July 2011 (UTC)
NICE! :D that's one way, atm I'm using 1000 pounds of sugar and Nian cat at 100% volume to restore my mind. ^^ --you like that don't you..The Holy Dragons 17:10, 19 July 2011 (UTC)
i thought infi was doin it ;o? --Icyyy Blue User IcyyyBlue Elementalist Blue.png 17:13, 19 July 2011 (UTC)
Infi sez I've got to remember some stuff before he does it so I'm trying to come up with it --you like that don't you..The Holy Dragons 17:17, 19 July 2011 (UTC)
Because it's *his* guild, not mine. And besides, he *had* a backstory, we just forgot to save it! - Infinite - talk 17:22, 19 July 2011 (UTC)

Iiiiiiiikkkkkeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!![edit]

YOU WILLZZZZ write this story!!!! I neeeeeeds background infooooo!!! (My guardian may be switched w/another character, depends on how his&how this story goes.)--User Necro Shea mo signature.jpg Necro Shea Mo 22:05, 12 September 2011 (UTC)

Pesky impatient little Bookahs. I will get to matters after relocating the Flux transistors in the capacity quadrant of my Novellium Array. Just be patient! - Infinite - talk 23:34, 12 September 2011 (UTC)
Bookah!! BOOKAH!! You dare call an asyran master BOOKAH?!?!!?!!?--User Necro Shea mo signature.jpg Necro Shea Mo 02:29, 13 September 2011 (UTC)
Putting 'side the fact that Shea Mo's main seems to be an asura (though he's acting the role of annoyed master little poorly), I find it funny that you're calling us "little Bookahs". Mediggo 06:47, 13 September 2011 (UTC)
Impertinate humans and other "masters" *hhem*. I am a master of my arts at the highest scale! All others are quite clearly below me.. So what, that infinity ball didn't work? My Necrotransposeroligist worked like a charm.--User Necro Shea mo signature.jpg Necro Shea Mo 20:57, 13 September 2011 (UTC)
Back to your lab Big Ears, go 'n Moo somewhere in the dark. --you like that don't you..The Holy Dragons 21:09, 13 September 2011 (UTC)
(Edit conflict) Infinity ball you say? I had a slight idea my experiments were being reproduced around Rata Sum! At least I have geniously gotten mine to properly function as designed. They would not call it an Infinity ball for any other reason, obviously! - Infinite - talk 21:12, 13 September 2011 (UTC)
The cowloving Bookah is irritating. Anyway, I failed because you stole my plans than replicated & completed the Infinity Ball before my assistant (now sadly deseased) finished my security golem.--User Necro Shea mo signature.jpg Necro Shea Mo 22:37, 13 September 2011 (UTC)

(Reset indent) Ike, you need to write this up so I can decide whether Agares fits in here or not. :P Konig/talk 18:59, 23 September 2011 (UTC)

But the pressure and my schedule and ugh, fine, if Holy pokes me in the very direct/nearby future I will write on it all week. I can and will start on the first publishable part Saturday night regardless. - Infinite - talk 19:54, 23 September 2011 (UTC)
I'd even kick your @#!*% @#!*% if needed! (<3 ) --you like that don't you..The Holy Dragons 21:07, 23 September 2011 (UTC)
*hands Holy a paddle* Here, you can use this. Konig/talk 21:31, 23 September 2011 (UTC)
I need spikey stuff (paddles won't hurt Ike) :( --you like that don't you..The Holy Dragons 21:46, 23 September 2011 (UTC)
Oh dear. - Infinite - talk 22:25, 23 September 2011 (UTC)
I'll task my ex if you can borrow some of her stuff then. Konig/talk 22:35, 23 September 2011 (UTC)

It's good![edit]

^ Mediggo 15:19, 29 September 2011 (UTC)

I partially disagree for three main points (from order to most bothersome to least):
  1. "Remember you're just a Tyrian inhabitant who happens to be destined to slay the elder dragons, we can't have loads of chosen ones" and "All we do is hope people will have normal stories [...] we won't get a hero-clash [...] request to ask members not to act as if they're the one [...] not THE hero which everyone is waiting for.", but yet "Our history is richer than one could even dream to fathom. Our knowledge of Tyria nearly endless. " and "The sheer scale of our operations rival those of the Order of Whispers. Our libraries almost as rich as the Durmand Priory's. Our will to fight equal to the Vigil." - sure, the members of the guilds are average folks, but the guild itself? It's the @#!*% top dog of top dogs. Not only a bit contradicting but also disheartening in terms of story.
  2. "We face the threat of the Elder Dragons. Tyria appears to unite against them, worrying about nothing else but these gigantic threats and the damage they inflict on our world. Fear not, for us Seraphim will look after everything else." Another contradicting point - "we face the threat of the Elder Dragons" becomes "everyone else looks at the Elder Dragons but we fight everything else!" Which, btw, I doubt that everyone will be fighting the Elder Dragons - in fact, it seems that only the three main orders are, while everyone else is having so much troubles with their own homelands/jobs that they can't afford to fight the ED (be they Seraph or Shining Blade, Lionguard or [[]], Warden or the Adament Guard (who for some reason don't have a page) - they are all busy with their own homelands).
  3. "We never left Cantha. Some of our own fell to the horrible plague, some of us fell during the Tengu Wars throughout the time, before and after the Guild Wars." Confusing wording, as it implies the Tengu Wars were post the plague when they ended a year prior; likewise, there really is no need for "before and after the Guild Wars" because while the Tengu Wars technically started in skirmishes before the Guild Wars, the official war was not before the first Guild War; likewise, only a year passed between the ending of the last Guild War and the ending of the Tengu Wars.
But it's mainly the first point which strikes my ire. No Seraphim for me. Konig/talk 17:44, 29 September 2011 (UTC)
Oh yeah, I don't like that note on top of guild page either. But I think it's directed more to players themselves, to not make backstories or try to roleplay their own characters above others. When it comes to Infi's text, I think our organization should not try to topple the orders. They are above guilds. I'd rather belong to a smaller scale (compared to Orders, especially) of elite group working behind scenes, but I'm happy either way. Still, all those points Konig mentioned should be improved on... Mediggo 18:04, 29 September 2011 (UTC)
That note is there so we won't have too many conflicts in personal stories. --you like that don't you..The Holy Dragons 18:14, 29 September 2011 (UTC)
Take note that the actual in-game guild is not even considered the main division of the Seraphim. In fact, we're merely the unit assigned to deal with the EDs. - Infinite - talk 18:20, 29 September 2011 (UTC)
"I don't like that note on top of guild page either" You have my statement backwards - it's the guild lore which makes the guild as a whole above-the-rest which I disdain.
"we're merely the unit assigned to deal with the EDs." While the first part of the sentence is helpful, the latter rather reaffirms the issue of the second point and, furthermore, can create clash with people's RP (I, for one, will be ignoring the dragons in my rp during GW2's date - the only dragon-facing my characters do is going to be in 1322 AE, three years prior to GW2). Konig/talk 18:24, 29 September 2011 (UTC)
Interesting point raised. I didn't think roleplayers would roleplay that far out of the box, I have to confess. - Infinite - talk 18:25, 29 September 2011 (UTC)
I'm so far out of the box, I'm freaking Schrödinger's cat charr. Konig/talk 18:50, 29 September 2011 (UTC)
Konig, I meant that it should go without saying that the true heroes in GW2 are the Destiny's Edge, and that we indeed cannot be godly, chosen, etc. I just feel it's redundant to have it there. It looks a bit ugly to me. Eh, I suppose the whole matter is complicated. Just gotta work together on this. Mediggo 19:04, 29 September 2011 (UTC)
"First opening draft." Says it all, tbh. :P - Infinite - talk 19:08, 29 September 2011 (UTC)
Mediggo, you say that, I agree (in my fanon, Devona and co. are the multi-national heroes, aided by several national heroes including 3 unnamed ones), however it's there because there are folks who don't agree and actually do have their characters act as the end-all-be-all hero who is merely aided by Destiny's Edge and other NPCs. Konig/talk 19:12, 29 September 2011 (UTC)
Yes, I know. I just find the note silly and maybe somewhat misworded. "Remember you're just a Tyrian inhabitant who happens to be destined to slay the elder dragons." Destined to defeat the greatest threat to the world as we know it, eh? The personal story will most likely take the player into that direction, though. All of us, and I don't mean only this guild, should have a part in the final battle. That's how I see it, at least. Mediggo 19:24, 29 September 2011 (UTC)
