yay wikitables that do math. :D -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 17:45, 30 September 2013 (UTC)
also, CONFIDENCE.NORM is probably a safer formula to use, since they'll remove backwards compatibility eventually (it got renamed) -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 17:47, 30 September 2013 (UTC)
Yay for probabilities having normal distributions.--Relyk ~ talk < 18:55, 30 September 2013 (UTC)
true, the coin drop rate there is no way in hell a normal distribution D: --Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 19:04, 30 September 2013 (UTC)
I'd assume they are all random distributions (equal chance to receive each amount), calculating a confidence interval wouldn't be meaningful.--Relyk ~ talk < 19:17, 30 September 2013 (UTC)
I guess that is why most drop tables here have you state how many times you found X, and not how many X you found in each attempt. Kanda (talk) 07:32, 1 October 2013 (UTC)
True for CONFIDENCE.NORM (I recall standard deviation got the same rework), however I'm still stuck with X2007 at home so I had to rewrite all these little formulae that would not give me their result any more. Kanda (talk) 07:32, 1 October 2013 (UTC)
