Screenshot images

Could you please do me a massive favour; when you're uploading a screenshot from scratch, click on the "screenshot" option on the dropdown licensing box. --> (image to the right)

Also, if one weapon shares appearance with another, use the gallery1 = parameter on the weapon infobox of the item's page. Don't worry about galleries, we have a fix coming up soon that will mean whatever image you specify in the weapon infobox will be the one that appears in the gallery. Thanks. Will do. About the gallery1 parameter, could you check if the way I added it on http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Harpy_Totem is correct (and possibly fix it so I can have an example)? It shares it's image with the Basic Focus at http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/File:Basic_Focus.jpg. Also, with the way I've been adding them it appears that the fix is already working, if you are talking about the gallery page on which all the focuses are displayed. --BlackNova 23:40, 8 January 2013 (UTC)

this is what I meant for the gallery parameter, I never explain things clearly :P

As for the gallery stuff, I mean arenanet are going to give us some updates to our wiki software to allow us to display stuff directly out of the infobox onto the gallery pages - so yeah your changes work fine for the gallery pages, but if we're going to be changing how they work theres no point in uploading lots of duplicate images :D (waste of effort)

Also, minor tip, you can do internal wikilinks by putting two square brackets around pagenames, e.g. if I wanted to link to Harpy Totem I would type [[Harpy Totem]] and it would appear as Harpy Totem. (you can then format the link by putting a pipe | after the pagename and before the second set of square brackets so for example I could display the Harpy Totem page as the harpy totem looks just like the Basic Focus .)
