Hello there, thanks for all your contribution to the Guild Wars 2 Wiki. However, you should be aware that Guild Wars 1 things are to be kept in the Guild Wars Wiki, which exists primarily to document the original Guild Wars. This wiki is to document Guild Wars 2, so unimportant Guild Wars storylines and features need not be mentioned.

While it's not a policy, Guild Wars 2 Wiki:Article retention has some good points as to what this wiki may contain. Thanks. --User Pling sig.png pling | ggggg 17:36, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

Sorry, I thought I was helping and it isn't unimportant, but I know what you are talking about I won't do anything that says ANYTHING about Guild Wars 1. Did you do the new article about the Central Transfer Chamber (influenced by me huh!!!)79.69.110.209 18:01, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

You were helping, don't get me wrong - every contributer helps. I reworded the CTC article so it's a little more relevant to Guild Wars 2. By the way, I'm not saying you shouldn't do anything about Guild Wars 2, just things that don't have a relevance to it. For example, the Eye of the North is about Guild Wars 1, but still has relevance to Guild Wars 2 as it will still feature. However, something like [[Against the Destroyers]] doesn't have any Guild Wars 2 relevance as it's just a Guild Wars 1 quest. Hope that makes sense :) --User Pling sig.png pling | ggggg 18:10, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
The line between GW2 and GW1 content is fairly arbitrary in several situations. It's best for the wiki to stay away from things related to GW1 much until beta is released and we know what's in GW2. Calor Talk 18:14, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
Thanx thats kind of you. Yeh [[Against the Destroyers]] doesnt have anything to do with it. Also can I ask a question on Guild Wars 1. Do you play it and if you do what guild are you in, PLINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG. And do you know when the beta test is being tested, CALOR. 79.69.110.209 20:15, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
I'm currently in between guilds at the moment. And the beta is most likely in the end half of 2008. --User Pling sig.png pling | ggggg 20:23, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
