Secondborn

Hi, just letting you know I reverted your changes to pages surrounding the secondborn and Scarlet because I've been following the discussions on the lore forum and I haven't seen any evidence to suggest that what they are saying is actually the case. Hold up the revert boat, Santax! Apparently there's a new book in the Durmand Priory (not seen in the link) that sheds some light on Scarlet's history. If you feel like it, you can go look for it, although I don't doubt its existence. --Ventriloquist 22:40, 9 July 2014 (UTC)

There's been a big discussion starting here on the lore forums about this. The only thing that is really clear is that the Secondborn's awakening has been retconned to have taken place much, much earlier, meaning that Ceara wasn't necessarily one of them. We know Cadeyrn was actually first of the secondborn from Dream and Nightmare, for example, and had Scarlet been first then it would have been impossible for Mender Serimon to greet her as she emerged from the Dream in Short Story: What Scarlet Saw unless he was firstborn himself, which is something that has never been mentioned before. –Santax (talk · contribs) 23:00, 9 July 2014 (UTC)

I glanced through some of the discussion and isn't it possible that the original Secondborn awakening (that was decided back in 2011) could have been wrong? It has been 3 years after all, and who's to say that it couldn't have been changed behind the curtains, as the game came closer to release? I don't know, I don't want to get too caught up in this since that gigantic thread you've linked covers basically every hole; so until a consensus is made, I agree with the revert, for now. --Ventriloquist 23:18, 9 July 2014 (UTC)
