Should this page include the Guild Wars wiki's map of the Forest and Guild Wars' concept art for the region? Sunlion (talk) 00:21, 8 November 2020 (UTC)

Given how the page for Kuunavang includes Guild Wars 1 screenshots, renders and concept art, it seems reasonable. Sunlion (talk) 05:05, 11 November 2020 (UTC)
Ok, probably a bit late, but I do not think uploading all the GW1 concept arts is a good way, maybe two or three, as we should mainly focus on the NEW concept arts. In the case of Kuunavang, character galleries are always more excesive than the ones for zones (which are mostly non-existent actually). This is pretty overkill. EDIT: Kuuna hsa 3 concept arts from gw1 for 2 gw2 pictures, this page has 10!! gw1 pictures per 2 gw2. Same for Shing Jea. ~Sime 20:02, 12 November 2020 (UTC)
Agreeing with Sime, this is a bit much, considering the GW images might not even be that relevant in the upcoming expansion. If people want to get an idea of what the area looks like, they can visit the GW wiki. They'll be happy about the traffic, too!
That aside, I'd prefer images that showcase differences/similarities, but that's something we can only determine once we have more information (including visuals). User Incarnazeus Signature.pngtalk 20:09, 12 November 2020 (UTC)
We might as well merge the two wikis now. Jokes aside, not even Elonian places have this treatment, and there were many from GW1 as well. Now it is just clogging the page with info not relevant to gw2. ~Sime 20:12, 12 November 2020 (UTC)
IMO, only models that have changed a lot from GW1 really need GW1 images. Regions don't benefit much from comparison shots. A specific landmark would make more sense, but the ones that benefit most would be models like Drakkar, Primordus, Kralkatorrik that changed a lot between games. Concept art of a random model used repeatedly throughout a region holds no benefit. You only really need two GW1 images: 1 concept art, 1 screenshot, and maybe a third via one render image. Like Kuunavang and Drakkar pages. 35.128.192.3 20:28, 12 November 2020 (UTC)
Delete the gw1 concept art, we already have gw2 concept art. Keep the gw1 map for the moment? -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 20:51, 12 November 2020 (UTC)
I agree, keep the map and gw2 art. —Kvothe (talk) 22:33, 12 November 2020 (UTC)

(Reset indent) Alright, tagged the concept art pages for this page with {{delete}} and will do the Shing Jea ones too. Though I'll probably leave the lighthouse one as it is included on the Cantha page, though maybe it should be removed from there. Should the maps be using the versions of them with outpost and explorable area names or just the clean versions like I uploaded as the current version? Sunlion (talk) 02:35, 13 November 2020 (UTC)

Not bothered as both are instantly recognizable to me since I did all the interactive potato "collapsible table" maps on gw1w. gw1:File:Echovald Forest map.jpg might be the better choice? -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 08:16, 13 November 2020 (UTC)
I would prefer with names. —Kvothe (talk) 10:45, 13 November 2020 (UTC)

Aspenwood meta event[edit]

This is absent from the events on the page. Only the Junkyard meta event and its sub-events is there. --Hesione (talk) 02:06, 11 July 2023 (UTC)

It's listed under Other events.--Genie (talk) 10:51, 11 July 2023 (UTC)
