More karma than Recycler: Karma (determined incorrect after discusstion)[edit]
Assuming the same conversion rate of 1 junk → 1 recycled currency, Recycler: Jade Sliver gives more karma. You can trade in 100 Jade slivers for 10 Tyrian Defense Seals and buy the 500 karma consumable Bead of Liquid Karma. --Vm0d (talk) 23:53, 14 March 2022 (UTC)
- No, that assumption is incorrect. I just got a 2-copper dandelion that was "recycled" for 10 karma. That same dandelion blossom would only give 1 jade sliver, and by your calculations that would result in only 5 karma per item whereas the Recycler: Karma yields 10. - There may be some things that recycle into higher amounts of karma, as there are also things that recycle into higher amounts of jade slivers. I used karma recycler for two days while harvesting home instance and never saw an item get recycled for more than 1 karma pouch in my log. --Vm0d (talk) 21:00, 19 March 2022 (UTC)
- I think it's important to note that 1 karma pouch is not the same as 1 karma. Each of the minor junk items I've seen recycled over the past few days gave 10 karma, so I assume you're referring to that as one "karma pouch." Unless the Bead of Liquid Karma actually gives you 500 karma pouches (5000 karma total), the comparison is misleading. --RoyHarmon (talk) 21:05, 19 March 2022 (UTC)
- yes, 1 karma pouch. i said "recycled currency" in my first comment which was meant to be "karma pouch", and i specifically used "karma pouch" in my subsequent comments. that aside, i understand now that the karma recycler does give more karma than jade sliver recycler. the issue was the log saying i received "karma" when i used them, which i had understood as being "1 karma". i see now that 1 pouch is 10 karma. --Vm0d (talk) 02:09, 20 March 2022 (UTC)
