Can this be salvaged or must it be intact for the achievement?[edit]

That Sigil of Force... --175.156.217.21 19:49, 8 March 2018 (UTC)

You can salvage it. —Ventriloquist 23:29, 8 March 2018 (UTC)
Asked around, it seems you keep it after giving it to the NPC so you can salvage it afterwards. I'm curious what happens if you salavge it BEFORE trying to hand it in. Lacrisma.1540 (talk) 23:31, 8 March 2018 (UTC)
Well that one I can answer as I actually did salvage the bow before i saw i had to bring it in. Talking to the NPC still gives you the right option to get the collection item. -- Darak 20:47, 9 March 2018
Oh thanks for letting me know! I was waiting with handing it in because I was too curious. Lacrisma.1540 (talk) 21:51, 9 March 2018 (UTC)

I presume then that, if the NPC still accepts it after you destroyed it by salvage, that you can only ever get one of them. Anyone know for sure?--Vana Runedottir (talk) 13:53, 16 June 2018 (UTC)

Yes, you only get one. This used to cause bugs. --Imry 16:15, 16 June 2018 (UTC)

Cannot be salvaged?[edit]

When did this happen? I know I salvaged mine before before turning it in, but that was a couple days after release. -Azure Fang (talk) 05:35, 22 April 2018 (UTC)

Dunno, but I can't click on it with Black Lion Salvage Kit, Mystic Kit or any of the merchant kits. I expect an upgrade extractor would probably work, but that would be a complete waste. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 08:07, 22 April 2018 (UTC)
Huh. Probably happened in response to the reports of inconsistent progression after salvage, then. Thanks for the clarification! -Azure Fang (talk) 12:50, 22 April 2018 (UTC)
It can however be mystic forged. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 18:44, 22 April 2018 (UTC)

(Reset indent) So, the bow can be salvaged only with an upgrade extractor. —Ventriloquist 11:19, 11 June 2018 (UTC)
