This goes to 11[edit]

I propose expanding this to 11 for special action skills. --BuffsEverywhere (talk) 22:04, 16 October 2021 (UTC)

Isn't this based on Controls, so this neither applies to profession mechanic skills nor to special action skills, but solely one the Skill bar?
Okay, it took me a while to figure it out that keyboard-wise it could make sense (playing the game in english on a german keyboard layout places it somewhere next to the "M"). However from a pure number perpective it's kinda hard to argue as it's the number key you press to activate the skill. Well, even 10 standing for the key "0" is kinda tough to argue but probably because 0 would mess up the order.
Regarding the usage:
  • Where would you actually need it?
  • How would you interpret it? Present it as "11" which is kinda puzzling (non-existing) or translate it to "-" which is even more confusing (usually stands for not available)?
Please keep in mind that there is also Property:Has skill slot sort order which could be easily edited without further questions as this property already combines several aspects in logical way to represent the in-game behaviour (while not directly mirroring in-game). --Tolkyria (talk) 22:45, 16 October 2021 (UTC)
It could be useful on pages such as Channeled skill#Common skills where there are a mix of normal skills and special action skills. The special action skills have a blank where the other skills have their slot number. For interpreting it, "11" can be replaced with "SA" (special action) in the result format. I don't see any reason why this property has to be restricted to the controls. --BuffsEverywhere (talk) 06:41, 17 October 2021 (UTC)
There you could also easily check for the context and set it to "SA" if it's equal to "Special action". --Tolkyria (talk) 08:17, 17 October 2021 (UTC)
