I don't think this is Rytlock

The main Charr in the image wielding the FDS doesn't match Rytlock's description from the books, nor does it look like the character from the videos. Unless it was named Rytlock at the source, the name should be changed as it's misleading. Elijah talk|contribs 14:14, 29 August 2011 (UTC)

Could also just be an earlier version of Rytlock. This is still a game we're talking about. Character models change. Look at Caithe: is all that artwork from before the sylvari redesign Caithe? Yup, and yet, it looks absolutely nothing like her. 199.245.34.11 15:01, 29 August 2011 (UTC)

It could be any old charr with any old FDS, or even Sohothin's previous owner. I just don't think there is enough evidence to conclusively say that this is Rytlock and put his name as the title of the art, as there is plenty of evidence to the contrary. Actually, this image was named Rytlock_Charr in the Guild Wars 2 Asset Kit, made by ArenaNet. Rather strong evidence if you ask me. — astronomy 17:16, 29 August 2011 (UTC)

Guess I was wrong, sorry chaps :P I realise now that this art almost exactly reflects Rytlock's first encounter with Logan, him leading a warband of Iron Legion with their chest plates removed so they could catch up to Logan's scouts. Elijah talk|contribs 12:55, 30 August 2011 (UTC)
