From Guild Wars 2 Wiki
An ode to the absence of information
- *ahem*
O Guild Wars 2, where are you?
You're just vapourware, but I don't care.
I'm pretty excited - poetry you've incited
But since the first little teaser I've been left in the freezer
For months nothing new, not even one more clue.
I hope and I pray Gaile Gray'll get more to say
Jeff Strain could do another interview or two
Eric on implementation might stop speculation
Concept art from Daniel Dociu could see me through
ArenaNet could answer a question to end this oppression.
This new wiki is looking quite sickly
The dirth of information causes much consternation
Speculation fills the pages there's been nothing real for ages.
I need something else to do, aside from loading RC anew
Policy is just too boring, all I hear is the snoring.
I admit to hating all of this waiting
There is so much to know but it's coming too slow
Though my plee is poetic it's still really pathetic
Perhaps I should be stronger for just a little bit longer.
Silly Guild Wars 2 and your information taboo!
Painfully bad poetry bought to you by aspectacle's boredom. Please note this was written without knowledge of how the names of those involved are actually pronounced.
[edit] Who is aspectacle anyway?
My wiki experiences started with rewriting large parts of the wikipedia articles on Guild Wars. From there I did a few edits on GuildWiki and started out on GWW with great interest. My wiki interests are major article rewrites, overview articles, reviews and interviews, and mission walkthroughs. I also RC watch.
In game I currently primarily play PvE but I've done quite a bit of PvP in the past. I'm pretty much always found running around in game with my husband who also plays. If you care to contact me one of my IGNs is "A Spectacle". Other games I play are usually in the single player RPG genre. I've recently tried Hellgate London which was a bit of a disappointment. I'm wildly addicted to Puzzle Quest - please save me.
In real life, I live in Australia, work full time as a software engineer and am never given quite enough work to keep me busy or interested. I spent 4 months in Europe in 2007 which was just fantastic.
