Welcome to the wiki[edit]

Good to have you here with us! If you need any help or have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Yoe Dude (talk) 18:02, 31 December 2013 (UTC)

Caledon Forest and Arias[edit]

There are scouts in every zone who point out all of the hearts in their vicinity. There is no need for notes like that on any zone.

Also, there are two ways into that area - from the north (the one I assume you found) and from the south, starting immediately outside the Grove. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 15:28, 12 January 2014 (UTC)

Well that's where i disagree, as not everyone talks to the scouts. I constantly see people looking for a heart they missed.

Recent Edits[edit]

If somebody makes an edit bothers you that much, talk to that person about it on their talk page, but don't vandalize their page, that's never a good idea. Here's Vent's page if you want to talk to him: User talk:Ventriloquist. - Doodleplex 05:56, 28 November 2016 (UTC)

Then maybe you should send him a message yourself and advise him to leave my edits alone. if i changed something it needed to be added and I will just go back and change it daily until it stays.

That's an attitude that's liable to get you banned, regardless of your good intentions. SarielV 20 x 20px 06:30, 28 November 2016 (UTC)
I love you keyboard warriors, always playing digital god. Every last word is yours or else.
Hey so obviously you realize that repeatedly changing the collection items' notes back without an explanation would get you blocked or you already would have done it, but I would like to understand why you're reacting with such hostility to Ventriloquist's change in the first place. Is it the new wording that you object to? If so, that can be discussed civilly and then if other editors agree with you, it can be changed back. But if it's the fact that someone changed your edits that bothers you, that's just the way a wiki works and you have to accept that if you want to contribute here. Either way, please understand that additional hostile or passive-aggressive edits will not help resolve this situation. - Felix Omni 07:21, 28 November 2016 (UTC)

(Reset indent) Hi Ankara. I adjusted your edits to fit the wording of the wiki better. The notes you listed belong to "Notes", not "Trivia", as the latter section is reserved for references or other trivial information, which this is not. I also moved them above interwiki links, as those should always be at the bottom. I think we both have a common goal here, so if you feel like my revision of your edit(s) isn't correct, feel free to discuss it with me here, or on my talk page, but please don't just revert it (without a discussion first), or vandalise my user page. Cheers. —Ventriloquist 20:35, 28 November 2016 (UTC)

No what you did was remove the info I went looking for in the beginning. Not everyone knows these items will still show in their collections, or in some cases they may not even be awate they are part of a collection, and you just all king of the hill like decided to remove that info screw everyone else.

Working with the community[edit]

I'm not sure if these words will fall on deaf ears as those above appear to have, but I'm going to give you some credit and assume you'll consider mine.

The wiki is a community made up from wide range of people, and as such we all have many different opinions. We work together despite our disagreements because we know that talking solves way more than just pressing the revert button. Take the time to communicate so that you can be understood, rather than portraying yourself as a petulant child (yes, that's what you're appearing to be; and no, I don't think you're intending to do so).

Take a moment, gather your thoughts, and maturely express yourself. That's how people work together. G R E E N E R 22:38, 28 November 2016 (UTC)

So who took the time to talk to me before reverting or altering my edit??? Hmmm?? Nobody. That's right. They just did it. Hypocrite.

Right, because before you left a message on Ventriloquist's user page there was no reason for him to think you'd oppose a minor change + formatting fix. The general process for creating/changing wiki content is thus:

Consensus flowchart.svg

In other words, you do not need to seek approval for an edit beforehand, but if someone objects to it you should discuss the matter before anyone makes further changes. That's why Ventriloquist came to your talk page to discuss the situation (above) after he realized you objected to the changes he made. - Felix Omni 17:49, 6 December 2016 (UTC)

No wiping[edit]

In case you missed the messages along with some of the past history of this page, you are not allowed to wipe your talk page like that. Please stop. - Doodleplex 07:20, 11 December 2016 (UTC)

Lunatic Gossamer Insignia[edit]

You're not fooling anybody. Please be reasonable and talk about this. --Idris (talk) 20:04, 22 October 2017 (UTC)

So, you seem pretty frustrated by the fact that your desired change didn't make it onto the page, and I'm guessing you feel like the cabal of set-in-their-ways regulars are refusing to let you make improvements. The thing is, wiki editing is not a fight to the death where the editor with the most "clicking the undo button" stamina wins; it's a collaborative project, where disagreements are discussed until a consensus of some sort is reached. The reason your change kept getting reverted was because the status-quo -- the previous consensus -- was being preserved until the new one could be agreed upon. I promise it wasn't an attempt to prevent you from contributing, and had you been willing to listen to other people's opinions and compromise with them, you might have seen a better outcome for your edit. --Idris (talk) 17:38, 23 October 2017 (UTC)

Talk all the shit you like, we both know ( and you may just be fooling yourself ) that the Wiki mafia run this page like it's their way or the highway. If someone liek myself made those changes, then it must be because those changes were what we needed to find that info. Not that YOU & your mafia give a fuck. Hi, local mafia representative here. The wiki is a collaborative project where statements such as "If someone liek myself made those changes" don't work. Get off your high horse and learn to work with others, or ride your horse out of town. Your self-important drama has no place here. G R E E N E R 15:41, 5 November 2017 (UTC)

No place in your mafia you mean. fuck you The preceding unsigned comment was added by Ankara (talkcontribs) at 16:04, 5 November 2017‎ (UTC).

You can sign your name by typing four tildes, ~~~~, at the end of your statements. G R E E N E R 16:19, 5 November 2017 (UTC)

Lol dude why bother editing if you think they're the mafia. Just quit doing wiki crap, you'll be better off. The preceding unsigned comment was added by 174.194.34.72 (talk) at 02:32, 6 November 2017‎ (UTC).
