To the OP, four of the five available spirits have a chance to cast a boon on party members (20% by default). This trait improves that chance by 15% (whether this is additive -- totaling 35% -- or or multiplicative -- something around 23% total -- I don't know). The wording is not so ambiguous as much as the spirits themselves are. The Storm Spirit describes what event triggers the proc, while the others do not. Take the Sun Spirit: "Summon a sun spirit that grants allies a 20% chance to inflict burning." Is that for every attack? Every five seconds? Just once? Whenever it actually triggers, this trait gives you a 15% bonus chance to trigger it. --Tloch14 06:48, 3 September 2012 (UTC)

Actually, while the wording on this says it's a 15% chance, I noticed my spirits showing a 50% chance to trigger (up from 20%.) I still don't know what that means. (Every attack, on hit... etc.) But that 50% chance seems more then a 15% increase.* Edit* It was indeed a 15% increase in chance to trigger, and a 15% increase in chance to get applied. However in my testing I did find an 'exploit' if you may even call it that with this trait. It may not be much but when you swap this trait out the spirit bonusses get reapplied (with the lower chance to trigger 'on hit') But the old boon is still active. Effectively making spirits have a 50% + 35% chance to trigger. If you swap out this trait, and then move it back in it gets reapplied again. So if you're out of combat you could indefinetely give allies a 85% chance to trigger your spirits' effects 'on hit'. I can't imagine this was intended.46.129.6.219 20:54, 25 January 2013 (UTC)

as of my posting, spirits give a 35% chance to trigger their buff (35% chance to cause you to burn a target, protect/swift your self). with this trait, that chance is increased 35%, to a grand total of 70% chance to trigger it's effect. Skyroskus (talk) 07:57, 23 June 2013 (UTC)

June 25th 2013 Update[edit]

When it says this skill was merged with Vigorous Spirits, does the new trait increase the spirits health or did they do away with that part of the trait? 108.12.236.248 14:27, 26 June 2013 (UTC)
