Talk:Put a stop to the Mighty Oouo

I'm not gonna get into an edit war but the note about accessing the skill point and point of interest is misleading. It implies that the event has to be cleared. Maloncanth 23:58, 20 December 2012 (UTC)

Alright, if you really want to make it clearer that it requires the event to be active, go ahead and change it back. Manifold User Manifold Neptune.jpg 00:07, 21 December 2012 (UTC)
The note is incorrect. I've accessed the Mighty Oouo's head without the event being active before. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 00:21, 21 December 2012 (UTC)
There's an Inquest Gate blocking off the area. It's not damageable until this event starts. I imagine it stays gone for a while after being destroyed, you can certainly kill the champion without being stuck in the area. I had camped out in front of that gate, checking that character every once in a while until one day (it took a few) the event was active and I could destroy it. I don't know how long it takes the gate to reset, but I don't think it's a significant portion of the time that the event is inactive after being completed. It's probably ~10 minutes, the way chests despawn after finishing the event.--Relyk 02:45, 21 December 2012 (UTC)
And this event gets stuck quite frequently, causing the Inquest Gate to not be replaced until a server reset. --MushaUser Musha Sigc.png 08:08, 22 December 2012 (UTC)

Both notes at the bottom of the page are incorrect. I was able to both access the Great Oouo Point of Interest without having to pass through the Asura gate (the event chain was not active), and complete the entire event chain subsequently. It suffices to clear out the ambient mobs in the event before this to stop it from stalling. The relevant Legendary collection is perfectly attainable.

Trivia from Peter Fries[edit]

"Trivia: Agent Barwick was named for our prop artist James Barwick. Agent Marielli was named for his wife Maryeli Rodriguez, a user interface artist for the game. Frainn, the asura champion who is manipulating the local grawl tribe with his Mighty Oouo mechanism, was named for Arthur Frayn, the Eternal who created and operated the giant floating head Zardoz, in the movie Zardoz."
