Talk:Protective Reviver

Would this work even if you just used a skill to instantly revive someone (such as activating the signet of mercy on the guardian class)? I wouldn't mind having an instant revive that suddenly buffs me and the fallen ally.

Would this work while only reviving Downed players, or does it work when reviving defeated/dead players too? I assume this also works with NPCs.

As of today, this trait triggers upon reviving defeated (dead, not downed) players, and also when using Signet of Mercy on an NPC. It also seemed to trigger twice within the span of ten seconds on two defeated players -- once on the tail-end of a nearly fully revived player, then again on another player with multiple revivers. If there's an internal cooldown then it seems to be fairly insignificant, making this quite powerful for chain revivals. 192.168.104.79 17:47, 8 October 2012 (UTC)

Interesting. Do you both get this buff for partaking in a revival that you did not complete? (but someone else did shortly afterward). Along the same general lines as having a few hits at an event NPC and running off across the map and getting a medal when someone else came and finished the job. (We've all done it.) Or perhaps is the a hidden clause that means you must be healing them as they come to. Puk 07:04, 28 February 2013 (UTC)
