600 Ecto are required if you use the crafting recipe. The Vendor has a surcharge in almost all items. Mostly 10 Ecto, sometimes less. --Rochwen2 (talk) 07:35, 9 September 2023 (UTC)

12 is the Amalgamated Krpytic Essences required PER piece of armor or altogether totaled up? I am trying to make a list of how many of each rift run one would have to make if mastered or unmastered with rift mastery. --Lithril (talk) 7:50, 19 September 2023 (EST)

The 12 amalgamated essence would appear to be per piece of armour, if the ingame cost is accurate right now. So, 3000 t1 essence per piece Apotheotic (talk) 12:01, 17 September 2023 (UTC)

Post armor release info

I placed basic Acquisition information as the top 2 bullet points. I was uncertain on how the page should be cleared up but I wanted to make a clear path forward for people interested in crafting the armor. I tried not to disturb the rest of the page. Crafting location

While crafting seems to be limited to the Wizard Tower, unless an undocumented change of the has happened Obsidian armors are craft-able at the Armorsmithing, Leatherworking, and Taloring stations in the tower.
