Talk:Keep the grawl busy so they don't turn to Jormag

This one seems to be pretty stupid-busted in terms of finicky, precise ordering and weird requirements for completion. I'd already collected a dozen of the sticks and the ice long before I had taken on the heart, or gotten to the story point where you need to make the shrine. It was obvious they served a purpose, SINCE THEY WERE OUT THERE. Giventhey were clogging up my inventory while in other areas (e.g., Crystal Desert, Cantha, etc.), I just banked them for the time being to get them out of the way. SO, I finally hit this spot in the story where I need to use them, and apparently NONE OF THOSE MATTER IN ANY WAY. They are of no use, had no reason to be even IN your inventory, nor did it do you any good to "gather" them ahead of time. It was a total waste of your tool uses AND time. SO, I grabbed the stuff out of the bank, and went to build a shrine. I didn't have all the chicken feathers, so I grabbed those. Went to build a shrine. What? No, you didn't build a shrine. But thanks for trying, I've taken the four @#$@$#% feathers from you. Just none of the sticks and ice. There's a shrine THERE, and it's got a Green Star on it, but it does not recognize it as completed -- THAT's still in my story requirement. SMH. SO, I go out and get four fresh of everything, go to build it... Eph you, it's STILL NOT DONE. So now I've tossed ALL my sticks and ice and feathers out of my inventory, and plan to try NOW and see if it can be #$%@#$%^ done. If not, I'll presumably have to reset the %@$%^$%^ story to do it over, for no rational reason whatsoever. FACT is, the nodes should not even APPEAR in your game until you have the story in effect. Instead, they appear all the time, even though they serve no other purpose. Yeah, I'm commenting on this on the ANet forums, too... SMH. There are times when ANet people do some of THE most BONEHEAD stupid crap around, for no good reason whatsoever. Even if they're too damned dishonest to take reasonable ire from customers when they DO make imbecilic decisions as surround this one. :-/ -- --Obloodyhell (talk) 09:45, 10 January 2024 (UTC)

Yeah, DON'T have ANY of them in your inventory, TOSS any that may be there, and just go collect them once you have the "list" in your story line. NO reason for this thing to be this finicky whatsoever. ALL they had to do if they wanted it done in a precise kind of order was to NOT even make the stupid things APPEAR on the map until you had the story. SMH. --Obloodyhell (talk) 10:04, 10 January 2024 (UTC)
