Name[edit]

I think Management station is a bit too generic. The help in the guild panel refers to the device as Aetheric Assembly, the window you get when you interact with it calls itself Processing. Personally I would go with the former. —MatHack (talk) 21:42, 13 December 2015 (UTC)

Where in the Guild panel does it refer to the device as Aetheric Assembly? Could you please provide screenshots of interacting with the device via Imagur or other service? In-general, the in-game name has priority. If appropriate then this page may be renamed. ~ 1Maven (talk) 02:02, 14 December 2015 (UTC)
As I said, the 'help' in the guild panel: http://i.imgur.com/zd0e7Mk.pngMatHack (talk) 06:08, 14 December 2015 (UTC)
Thank you for providing that image, which supports what you are saying. Would you also be able to supply images of the screens shown when interfacing with the Aetheric Assembly? These could be integrated into a revision.. ~ 1Maven (talk) 07:58, 14 December 2015 (UTC)

Thank you for providing those images. I'm going to move this page to the in-game name, Aetheric Assembly, then update it appropriately. Take a look after I am done and see what you think. ~ 1Maven (talk) 21:23, 14 December 2015 (UTC)
Want to use the actual in-game name of the object instead of the description of the process...? Mora 22:37, 14 December 2015 (UTC)

(Reset indent) This object seems to be called different names in-game. As MatHack pointed out, it's called "Aetheric Assembly" in the Guild Panel. Perhaps "Assembly Device" is a shortened version of the full name, "Aetheric assembly device", which is how it's referred to in the "Guild panel Guide" under both "Schematic" and "Aetheric Assembly". I suggest that whatever name we choose as "best representing" in-game references, redirects be utilized for the others. ~ 1Maven (talk) 23:57, 14 December 2015 (UTC)

The guild panel is not the object; the object is called Assembly Device. It's not a "perhaps" or open to suggestions, it is the name. Why would you try to enforce "the in-game name has priority" if you want to go with "best representing" now? And did you even attempt to check for the object's name yourself before this mess? All you had to do was interact with the object to see the correct name... Mora 00:20, 15 December 2015 (UTC)
Yes, I tried to check for the object's name, but I do not have access, so I depended on the information provided by MatHack. I do not put too much store in the image that you provided since it contradicts all other in-game references provided. Consider other cases when the opening panel often has a different name then the one used on the wiki. For example, when you speak to Pall Gilmore, the two available panels are titled "Guild Initiative Registration", yet we use "Guild Initiative Notary" not "Guild Initiative Registration". I have no problem renaming this page, but I would like to hear the opinions of others. ~ 1Maven (talk) 01:11, 15 December 2015 (UTC)
So you don't understand the difference between objects/NPCs and panels... That image I provided is what is displayed to players without access (if you would actually read it...) and there is no contradiction, you just decide to support the wrong words: Aetheric ASSEMBLY DEVICE. I'm done arguing when you just clearly don't understand basic formatting for this wiki and dismiss a screenshot directly from the object that this page is about. Mora 03:42, 15 December 2015 (UTC)

Craft Times[edit]

Can someone verify if all crafting times (where an object is sent to the device to be queued) has been removed and/or been set to zero? This may be an undocumented change as of the Nov 7th patch. -- Magic User Magic Icon.jpg Talk 04:08, 24 November 2017 (UTC)
