Quality[edit]

What "quality" is this tool equivalent to (i.e. for the type of crops it can harvest)? The level suggests it's equivalent to a Mithril Harvesting Sickle. Is this true? --Combatter 10:56, 31 January 2013 (UTC)

You mean item quality or what level? I'd say it's either dependant on character level or that it's better than orichalcum sickle. In either case, it should be much better than standard harvesting tools. It costs two laurels, after all. Mediggo 11:04, 31 January 2013 (UTC)
They added level restirctions for harvesting tools, so that should clarify which quality this one has because I guess equal quality = equal level restriction. - Yandere Talk to me... 11:06, 31 January 2013 (UTC)
The fact that it requires lvl 45 suggests it's equivalent to a Mithril sickle. Can anyone confirm this? --Combatter 18:24, 31 January 2013 (UTC)
On the talk page for the corresponding pickaxe, people are saying it obsoletes the Orichalcum Pickaxe and can be used to gather top-tier resources. If that's true I would say with certainty that this would be consistent across the other two tools. 174.35.247.117 18:57, 22 February 2013 (UTC)

Anomaly verification 2021/05/09[edit]

hey so i was testing different tools for getting Varietal seeds and with this when i got clove seeds i got 3 one time and 4 one time. i always got Varietal seeds when it was possible meaning every time i got the equivalent of the seeds resource. if anyone wants to maybe do some testing with this and see if they get the same results as me or if i just got lucky. --Saggy99 (talk) 14:22, 9 May 2021 (UTC)

So i was testing again and i got 10/10. 4 clove seeds from 1 gather (critical), 1 sesame seed, 1 mint seed and 7 pepper seeds. all gathering was done in different regions. i think its worth adding a anomaly for this because its a easy way to gather Varietal seeds. Tested in Bjora on a handful of verdant herbs and got 0 varietal seeds. Gartner (talk)
