Legionnaire Via Splitvein
Legionnaire Via Splitvein was a soldier of the Blood Legion that was present at the reassembly of the three High Legions. She outwardly seemed to have a deep hatred of Feros, an Ash Legion soldier who was supposed to escort her to Kinar Fort that day, but in reality was engaged in a relationship with him, and was pregnant with his cub. When Via's warband was killed by Branded monsters, Feros defended her from the final Branded creature, despite suffering fatal wounds. Binding his wounds, Via wished to leave Feros were he had fallen and return with help, so that he wouldn't bleed out. Feros, however, argued that without his guidance, she wouldn't make it out of the Brand alive, killing their cub in the process, and told her to carry him to Kinar Fort. Reluctantly, she agreed, and Feros is implied to have died of his wounds after guiding Via to safety.
A short time after Feros' death, Via gave birth to their cub and named him Veros, after his father, and two weeks later gave the cub to the primus of an Ash fahrar.
