On first interaction

The small object on the pedestal thrums with a strange energy. You blink and are surprised to see your hand outstretched to grab it. A tiny, elegant placard just in front of it reads "Do not touch."

Pick it up to examine further.

(Grand Archivist Vivienne): Is the sign not enough?

Better not.

On second interaction

The curator warned you not to touch it, but somehow that only makes it more tempting...

Touch it anyway!

(Grand Archivist Vivienne): Do not.

Better not.'

Notes

• Actually touching the object will cause you to be teleported across the room, transformed into an anomaly, then changed back before teleporting you to the ceiling for a harmless drop to the floor.
• The object is a Heroic Dragonsblood Staff; other weapons from that set are also on display. There is probably nothing special about it beyond being interactive to demonstrate Vault security.
• The generic nature of the text suggests it was written before it was decided what and who it would be attached to.
