Febe was a Kryptis in Nayos. He was respected by at least some of his fellow Kryptis, including Cerus. The tip of his left horn was said to have brushed the ceiling of the Temple of Febe. Febe yearned for demon autonomy and opposed the tyrannical reign of Midnight King Eparch. Before her execution, Febe considered Lady Mosyn to be resplendent,[1] and was always curious about her work.[2] Deimos ended up slaying Febe in a location that would be known as the Temple of Febe under the watchful eyes of an audience including Eparch and Cerus. Eparch is said to have smiled as he witnessed Febe's fall.[3]

Trivia[edit]

  • Febe may be a reference to Phobos, God of Fear and Panic, and brother of Deimos the God of Dread in Greek mythology. The name derives from Ancient Greek Φόβος ('flight, fright').
  • It may also be a reference to Phoebe, Titan of Intellect and Prophecy, grandmother of Apollo and Artemis. The name derives from Ancient Greek Φοῖβος ('pure, clear, bright, prophet').
  • Or it could be a reference to Phoebus, aka Apollo, Greek god of the sun.
