Walkthrough[edit]

  • Ride a skyscale from the blue orb near the Beacon of Ages Waypoint at Wizard's Ascent to the southern gate of the Wizard's Tower in under 10 minutes without dismounting or teleporting.
  • You must be mounted and step onto the blue orb near the Beacon of Ages Waypoint, which will give an Achievement effect.png Achievement Eligibility: There and... buff to indicate that you've started it and show the timer. The timer on the buff will reset every 5 seconds until you leave the blue orb.
  • It is possible to do Stargaze Ridge Skyscale Ride on the way.
  • You do not need Ley-Line Acclimation, Enhanced Updrafts or Wall Spring for this achievement. You will need to be efficient with your route however since any mistakes will be harder to recover from. The timer will also be much tighter.
  • A tip is to use the updrafts and orbs above the beacon of ages to replenish vigor and start very high up. Therefore making it easier to go to Garenhoff.
  • It is also possible to fly west from the blue orb and catch updrafts to get to Skyward Marches, take the ley line across Skyward Marches, and then fly north catching updrafts to the Energy Ladder just southwest of the Wizard's Tower South Gate.

Trivia[edit]

  • There and... Back Again is a direct reference to the full name of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit, or There and Back Again. There and Back Again is also the name the protagonist, Bilbo, gives his own in universe book chronicling his adventures. The player is asked to make their way from Beacon of Ages to Wizard's Tower in generous timeframe, much like the characters of The Hobbit spend very long time travelling to their goal destination.
