Charybda the Cunning is an Eparch loyalist attempting to open a rift out of Nayos into Tyria. She has taken an interest in raising the children of Nourys, the Eyes of the Abyss to prepare them for a grand invasion.
The Temple of Charybda is named after her, and it is where Apprentice Scyllan attempts to perform a ritual. Other related Kryptis include Vespera, Scribe of Charybda and Nereidum, Chosen of Charybda.

Notes[edit]
- Unlike most NPCs, she cannot be highlighted or targeted during Defeat the Kryptis before they open a rift into Tyria (80), and her name does not appear above her model. It can only be seen from her lines in the NPC dialogue logs.
- Charybda is normal rank during the event in the Bleeding Wastes and champion rank during the event in the Spire of Creation.
