Deimos Epic Version?[edit]

Should another article be created to reflect this change? Sythe 01:58, 28 March 2017 (UTC)

Many NPCs change rank depending on when they show - Faolain can appear as normal, champion, and legendary. We just denote the highest rank we see them, usually - or the most common. Konig (talk) 02:58, 28 March 2017 (UTC)

Revision https://wiki.guildwars2.com/index.php?title=Deimos&oldid=1611779 added an information that is not linked or addressed on the reference https://www.artstation.com/artwork/4QVDk

The reference means the following

The Head of the Snake" on February 8, 2017. This creature is the manifestation of the all the inner demons of the character, Saul D'Alessio. I was responsible for the concept, model and texture. Additional concept guidance was provided by Tsveta Komaticheva and Carlyn Lim. This was my first task done for Arenanet. It was a great challenge and a lot of fun. The hand motif was used in the design to symbolize the fallen soldiers that died at Saul's hand. They also served as a way to show the inner turmoil and torture going on in Saul's mind. The hands resting like a mantle around the demon is also a visual nod to the White Mantle which imprisoned Saul.

They never mention the scar being a mursaat thing and the editor included this information mentioning the incoherence of former edits like https://wiki.guildwars2.com/index.php?title=Deimos&diff=1500654&oldid=1500640

The actual source of that information is https://youtu.be/DHT-zIsOWm8?t=2996, in which they refer to concept arts referring it a "eye of janthir carved on the chest" but there is no confirmation that was carried on to the final design as the final design is more diamond-shaped.

Maybe an actual verification of this information should be done as Janthir is a setting point to the next expansion and latest fractal shows Deimos had an eye where that scar is found.
