This page contains changes and additions for WvW that I could imagine. They may be perfectly applicable, have a major drawback or don't make any sense at all.
Siege Weapons[edit]
- Changes
- Splash damage dealt to gates and walls from a Catapult or a Trebuchet is reduced by 50%. Only a direct hit deals full damage. Disincentivize some ridiculous positions where a siege weapon is only targeting a ledge below a wall. However, the only trade-off would be an increased durability of walls against such positions.
- Splash damage by a Catapult or a Trebuchet can damage the siege weapon if the area of impact is near enough. Should nerf proxy catas whil still being a valid method to tear down the last few percent of a wall/gate. Would practically disable proxy trebs.
Guild Upgrades[edit]
- Changes
- Schematic: Watchtower - Watchtower is only active if a player of the controlling faction was inside the tower during the last 15 seconds. This way Watchtower would require a more or less dedicated scout to be used but would still serve as an additional method of gaining information for the scout. Trade-off: If Watchtower is not active/the dish is not spinning, you can safely say there will be no player inside the tower.
