Talk:Treasure Hunter
do i have to keep the items? or just get rid of them as they are no longer needed?
- No, you don't have to keep them. —Dr Ishmael 04:21, 11 September 2014 (UTC)
Where do I putthem? I have rhendak's ring, but it's not showing in the collection panel as found,a nd i don't know how to move it there
- Silly question: is the Doric thingy listed three times purely due to the three methods of acquisition or do you need to buy all three? If the former, there's only 38 in the list; if the latter, there's 40. — snograt 16:30, 14 September 2014 (UTC)
Lionguard Assault Badge[edit]
This item isn't showing up in the vendor table, despite the entry being there. Anyone with more experience than me with wiki editing able to fix this? -- Arduin 12:59, 15 September 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks for the fix, MithranArkanere -- Arduin 18:54, 2 October 2014 (UTC)
Event bugged?[edit]
Is the event for the ancient stone summit shoulders bugged? People on the map seemed to think it was since the fort got attacked by mordremoth. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 64.136.205.171 (talk • contribs).
Tip[edit]
Buying Arcanist Vance's Priory Granite Citadel History book also unlocks a 'Style Guide' book.
Do we need to unlock a skin to activate for TH?[edit]
I bought Infinite Wisdom off the TP. It seems we have to unlock the skin, which will make it account-bound.
Can someone confirm this for me? (If true, there's no way I can get this achievement, as I can't imagine ever having that much money. So, I might as well give up before spending a bunch of small amounts.)
- It is the skin that you need to unlock, yes. G R E E N E R 20:33, 21 September 2015 (UTC)
- ^^ correct. Once account-bound, you may pass the item to another character, salvage it or sell to a vendor for a tiny fraction of what you probably paid on the TP. ~ 1Maven (talk) 21:36, 21 September 2015 (UTC)
Feedback 2017/10/21: Lion Guard Assault Badge, the road block![edit]
Dears, maybe it would make sense to add as a note that nowadays, the Lionguard Assault Badge is probably the most annoying item of the collection. Reason is that the merchant for it is in Southsun Cove, that is a quite empty map most of the time. Since the merchant becomes active only if all camps in the area are safe, it very rarely happens. Biggest chance is to wait for a day where events in Southsun Cove are daily. It is the last item I miss and that's ages I wait to get it :( --Tilu (talk) 07:10, 21 October 2017 (UTC)
- I updated Lionguard Assault Badge (masterwork) page to mention the meta event being done by groups. I'm sure it could be better phrased, though. G R E E N E R 07:17, 21 October 2017 (UTC)
- Dears, I finally got the badge today thanks to a hint given to me by several players via the official GW2 forum (had opened a thread specific to ask about). The Southsun Economists are active as merchants, selling the badge, at time of the Karka Queen event. Always. It means that to get the badge, it is sufficient to check on timer of the Karka Queen and go to Southsun Cove right at that time. What I just did. I kindly suggest to add this very helpful hint. -- Tilu 15:06, 2 November 2017 (UTC)
API Input[edit]
could this wiki page please get an api input like the hungry cat and dye kit pages to see what is missing quickly? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Panzerov (talk).
Feedback 2018/05/09[edit]
The new Sunken Treasure Hunter content has become mixed with the existing Treasure Hunter (Collections) page. This is incorrect as this should be distinct and separate. The Sunken content does not progress the pre-existing Treasure Hunter track. --80.229.247.80 21:05, 9 May 2018 (UTC)
