Skulls[edit]
- Does anyone have an idea, why there are skulls hanging down from the ceiling of the Steading? I mean it looks damn scary, like the homestead of some necromantic cultist. Maybe it's just a generic steading model, but it really doesn't fit for a place where Sigfast is looking after children, whos parents are hunting.....--Aylia (talk) 01:20, 21 March 2017 (UTC)
- Also the stone skull in front of the steading seems not to fit in. It reminds me of those, you can find at Wychmire Swamp.--Aylia (talk) 01:23, 21 March 2017 (UTC)
- Sadly we can only provide guesses because there's relatively little lore on Sigfast in game. Lizbet Fleister does mention that Knut asked Skarti and Sigfast to postpone their hunts and stay in Hoelbrak, which shows that the brothers like to hunt when they're not managing the Wolfborn. Perhaps those skulls just represent trophies of monsters slain, like how a hunter would display them in a game room, to show that he's a strong hunter. This would also make norn kids feel safe around Sigfast because they have proof of his physical prowess right there. I imagine he could tell them quite a few exciting tales of his hunts to help the kids pass the time until the parents return. But yeah, it could just be a simple case of quick asset reuse without deeper thought behind it just like we see that certain Queensdale map all over the world in various strategy rooms. :) --Kossage (talk) 00:24, 28 December 2021 (UTC)
