Just because these are such a short-lived NPC, I figured I'd include a screenshot here, with UI on, to prove their existence :D

Also note, they seem to look identical to a regular Marmox. Since the Scared Marmox runs away quickly and then promptly disppears, it's quite hard to screenshot - so I'll stick with Marmox.jpg for now. Heillos (talk) 05:36, 22 June 2022 (UTC)

Renaming

Thank you for your edits User:Sunlion! That's a good observation that these are the same NPC, just renamed. I wasn't sure about it right away, but I tried targeting a Pack Marmox as I killed its wrangler, and the target wasn't removed when it became a Scared Marmox: so it does seem to be the same NPC.

I think that has awkward implications for the article name, though. Obviously Pack Marmox is taken up by the generic page already. It seems like keeping Scared Marmox is wrong, since that's not the primary name of the NPC. Does Pack Marmox (Drizzlewood Coast) make sense to you, or do you have a different preference on how we handle the article naming in this case? Heillos (talk) 05:59, 22 June 2022 (UTC)

I think keep it as Scared Marmox since it's a unique name, and means we can cut down on duplicate page names. Sunlion (talk) 06:01, 22 June 2022 (UTC)
