So I've finished tampering for the day. There is a wierd type called "unlock" under the maps pages, e.g. auric basin. Any idea what these are? The dungeon icons are obviously 8 of the 26 "unlock" types that appear in the console, but the rest look random to me. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 23:11, 25 May 2016 (UTC)

I'm also aware that it is hideously slow if you zoom in (which first draws all the icons), and then zoom out (which deletes) + back in. I can't see an easy way of grouping the markers from one layer into a div - if I could do that then i could just toggle layer visibility by changing the parent div visibility. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 23:19, 25 May 2016 (UTC)

Leaflet scroll bug discrepancy between browsers[edit]

Fun little bug: scrollDelta on leaflet works the opposite way for Edge (which identifies itself as Chrome) and Firefox. ref. Leaving working revision as scrollDelta=1 such that the +- buttons work correctly. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 22:05, 5 January 2017 (UTC)

Big map widget: things still to add[edit]

  • Jumping puzzles from the original world map widgets. (misc)
  • wvw objectives (misc)
  • Maybe links to the continents API from popups. (icons already get passed everything but the region)
  • Possibly links from the floor array popup to the given floors. (selecting floor from dropdown is easy, but should we also trigger the floor select event, or just pan to the button?)

Button jumping[edit]

I swear I've fixed this before. Firefox theme changes did mess with firefox though. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 18:39, 7 June 2021 (UTC)

Yes, for example the blue outline when clicking the wiki search box in firefox: intersecting with the buttons below, cut off on the right - wierd stuff. But it's not only firefox, also chrome/edge are using some "new" (really new? I'm mainly using firefox) button formats, as the monobook button currently jumps there too for me. I just wanted to give it a try and see how it looks. Idk, or maybe mw-ui-button without bold, as you already tried, could work too; but then again, one mediawiki change and might not align anymore. Thus, a completely independent button style could cause less trouble in the end. --Tolkyria (talk) 19:21, 7 June 2021 (UTC)
But yeah make the change, looks fine. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 20:31, 7 June 2021 (UTC)

Origin of the skill in the popup?[edit]

If it's possible, I think it would be really nice to include the information about where the skill is coming from into the popup. Profession/elite spec/weapon, stuff like that. It would help understand the context of the skill right from the popup. --Genie (talk) 01:35, 22 June 2023 (UTC)
