Elona and Cantha aren't in Guild Wars 2. There's no point having a navigation bar that links to the Guild Wars Wiki. Thus, no need for Cantha and Elona to be in the navigation bar. While it isn't a policy, Guild Wars 2 Wiki:Article retention has some good points about how to deal with things that are in Guild Wars and not in Guild Wars 2. -- pling | ggggg 20:53, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

Good points, though Elona and Cantha might pop-up in GW 2, propably in expansions. The non-playable races, i think, are only for those 'great' races that u meet a lot, not for those small things that pop up in small missions or somethingDarkdwarf 21:57 7 march 2008

There's not much point listing Elona and Cantha yet, seeing as they won't be in the immediate Guild Wars 2. If and when expansions pop up, then perhaps a little more discussion on how to list them can take place. For the time being, shall we take Elona and Cantha out, just until they are actually part of the game?

I think it's also a good idea to list those "great races", but I don't think they should be in the context they're in now, on a playable races template. They should be in a separate template, although I can't think of a name at the moment.

I think these issues should be discussed on the formatting guidelines - but only when there is something to format. In my opinion, let's wait until the beta is up so we know more about Guild Wars 2 to get these templates up. For now, let's just leave it to pure content. -- pling | ggggg 21:04, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

Okay, I'll leave the templates for now. I agree with you about deleting Elona and Cantha for now, but I do think it's good to have the Non-playable races in the same template as the Playable races. Look at this: http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Norn_armor

In this example they have ALL armor types in one template, why? Because they belong together exactly as all races does

That's a good example, but let's note two things:

1. That's GWW, not GW2W. Different policies, mindsets, etc.
2. We don't know the entirety of the races that will be in GW2 yet.
