This is a submission to WoodenPotatoes's Adventurer Elite Specialization contest.

The Engineer has upgraded. A tool belt wasn't enough, he crashes into battle with his mech suit ready to destroy his enemies with a slew of ever-changing suit abilities. To combat the corruption of the elder dragons, a mechaneer can take on masses of enemies and manipulate their positions - all while continuously transforming his mech suit for every situation. The only limit to his capabilities is in his creativity. The mechaneer skills and traits often encourage using different types of slot skills in efforts to gain access to more mech suit skills as well as to abuse cross-form combos to make the most out of every ability. Uniquely, this elite specialization takes advantage of motion, either running into enemies for explosive effect or manipulating enemy's position. This specialization really plays towards the concept of changing unique profession abilities while still having synergy towards the core specialization abilities.

List of Mechaneer skills[edit]

Profession Mechanic[edit]

Mechaneers are ready for anything. Wearing a mech suit, the tool belt is replaced by three mech suit abilities. However, mechanners will not stagnate with just one set of abilities, after using a slot skill, the mech suit changes on the mechaneer changes and his abilities follows this transformation. The mech suit abilities completely replace the toolbelt. Using a slot skill will change the mech suit abilities based on the type of skill used. Notes[edit]

  1. ^ The attachments are notably farther away from the body to avoid clipping with certain armours
  2. ^ Static Discharge does reduced damage with mech suit abilities
  3. ^ These abilities have longer cooldowns.
  4. ^ This skill is specifically meant to be a heal skill just in case the player uses Med Kit. To balance it, significant movement will be needed to provide a good heal. Teleports count as moving.
  5. ^ Lightning abilities are like elixir abilities and explosions, a trait effects them.
  6. ^ The idea is that the pact commander is calling in the assistance of the orders, notably, these abilities are more situational. Perhaps not weaker because all races get access to them.
  7. ^ These abilities have longer cooldown
  8. ^ This is an instant ability, to allow it to be activated right before a specific attack hits.
  9. ^ Static Shot, Static Shield, and Static Discharge are core lightning skills.
  10. ^ Device kit: Protection, Elixir: Resistance, Gadget: Fury, Trick: Vigor, Turret: Stability, Weapon kit: Might.
  11. ^ Teleporting counts as movement
