Jungle Spider Hatchlings in Morgan's Spiral isn't a critter[edit]

The reason for this is because it is an allied unit that is located on the same spot as the Juvenile Jungle Spiders. You cannot kill it, therefore it is not a critter. You'll encounter them both after you complete the Morgan's Leap jumping puzzle. — Amurense
Whoops, my bad! I saw "spider hatchling" and thought it'd been labelled wrong along with the Juvenile Jungle Spiders. — Andrealinia 13:47, 18 September 2012 (UTC)

Changes to Morgan's Spiral[edit]

I want to just state why I've made these changes so, hopefully, they won't be reverted soon.

Addition of vistas

I've added in the vistas with 0 and "None" for now purely because the majority of content on other area pages is incomplete. With this being one of the more complete pages, it lets newcomers come to this page as somewhere to copy format and offers a higher chance of getting the correct formatting across all the area pages. At a later date, if it's really needed, I can go through and remove the 0's but, until then, I believe this also lets people know that this page is complete and not missing something.

Labelling of Foes

With the 'Enemies' now being renamed as 'Foes' to match AN's wording, I think this section needs to be looked at. I don't mind the foes being labelled by type but not all foes are enemies. For example, I know the Doe is a friendly until attacked. For this reason I've currently labelled them as "Friendly Foes" but it really needs another name. Also, I don't know if it truly belongs under 'foes' or if it should have it's own subsection. I still believe that foes are should be an entirely new section and not labelled under NPCs. I know NPCs just means any character not played but Foes are drastically different to any other NPC around (mainly cos they're the ones that kill you) and it seems wrong to have them under just a little header when they're such a big part of the game. Maybe NPCs just wants rewording to Allies and then we can separate between "Services" and whatever other types of allies there are.

Labelling of Services

I think this needs to be kept separate as the services will all have different icons whereas the allies won't. This allows for a better aesthetic feel to the page as well as allowing services to be alphabetised through service provided rather than inter-joined with the others.

Upgrading of Pets

At the moment I've upgraded it to a section in its own right because pets aren't strictly allies unless they're attached to a ranger. I don't actually know if it needs it's own section because it's mentioned in the info box

On Vistas, as I explained multiple times now in the edit summary: if it does not exist, why document that it doesn't exist? We don't need to denote there are no vistas, we just need to not denote vistas. In other words it is pointless. Konig/talk 22:01, 20 September 2012 (UTC)
Okay, I was just thinking in terms of completion and for ease of creating a unified layout on the wiki. I'm not going to push it though, since I agree it should be moved eventually. Might as well do it now :) — Andrealinia 05:35, 21 September 2012 (UTC)
I don't think denoting that there are no vistas is pointless. I prefer to know if they are just not documented yet or if there are none. -Cosmicearthgirl 06:19, 24 September 2012 (UTC)
Once we get area images up, that won't be an issue. Nor will it be in the long run, when the wiki's more complete than not. Konig/talk 12:28, 24 September 2012 (UTC)
