Walkthrough

Grab a training kit from the Box of Training Kits. While holding the bundle, you will be under the effects of Devourer Trainer and the Undisciplined Lashtail Hatchlings will attack you. The bundle gives you two skills, Use Whip and Throw Treat. Hit a devourer with Use Whip will inflict Discipline for 5 seconds, causing the devourer to turn neutral and attack a Training Dummy. The hatchling will hit the dummy 3-5 times depending on how close it is to the dummy. The dummies take about 16 hits to destroy. There are three hatchlings total in the area and seven dummies. A devourer is considered trained once the dummy is destroyed. Once trained, the devourer will despawn after a few seconds.
