Look for a memory in Shipwreck Strand on a small island of plants and wildlife, surrounded by glimmering shoals. Look for a memory in Starlit Weald, north of a ruin's moat. Speak to the foremost expert on the Astral Ward in Shipwreck Strand, and see if he remembers anything about this former member. Look for a memory washed to shore among the shipwrecks of the southern strand. Return to Central Tyria and track down a memory bidding farewell to a pair of steadfast hawks. Oh! You're the one who arrived with the Astral Ward! Can... Can I speak with you for a moment?

Castaway Clio: I—I truly thought I'd never see the Astral Ward set foot on these shores. They can't be here for me, can they?

Castaway Clio: My memory is littered with holes, but...I used to be one of them, researching magic. But one day...

Castaway Clio: Something...went wrong, and next thing I knew, I washed up here. That's how it's been for years now.

Castaway Clio: I could rejoin them, but—something is giving me pause. Something I can't recall.

Castaway Clio: My memories are adrift, ripped away by the Mists, and this place—please, please find them for me.

Castaway Clio: In the meantime, I'll talk it over with Marnie and Cassi and everyone, and then decide what to do.

Castaway Clio: Oh, what do I do?

Sorry, I'm busy right now.

I still have so many gaps in my memory... There must be more out there.

Castaway Clio: Seeing the coast from this height... It brings to mind Amnytas, with all its rocky slopes and racing clouds.

Castaway Clio: I should get going. Don't want to be late for dinner and make Marnie worry. I hope she made tilapia soup.

Astral Ward Recruit Clio: So this is where I'm to live now. I wonder how many others are part of this "Astral Ward."

Astral Ward Recruit Clio: I can't imagine the knowledge I'll have access to, the good I can do with these people—

Castaway Clio: I don't think I've ever seen flora like this before.

Castaway Clio: It seems to have magical properties, just like everything else on this island.

Castaway Clio: I...can't remember if we had these in the skygarden.

Castaway Clio: Perhaps it's my own discovery. Perhaps I don't need the ward to learn new things.

Castaway Clio: The diversity of flora and magic in this forest is incredible, but —nngh—

Castaway Clio: Damn it all, it's just too dangerous in here by myself. Maybe Cassi was right about this place.

Castaway Clio: If the ward had bothered to find me—actually send someone after me—we could learn so much here.

Isgarren: Wayfinder. Something troubles you.

<Character name>: Do you know of an Astral Ward member named Clio?

Isgarren: Clio, Clio... I'm afraid I don't remember anyone by that name.

<Character name>: A drakologist? Studying the Branded? She—

Isgarren: Ah, yes. Lost during an experiment. Teleported somewhere far within the Mists.

Isgarren: These things happen.

<Character name>: Is there anything else you know about her?

Isgarren: I...cannot recall which bastion she belonged to. The ward has many such members.

Castaway Clio: This isn't the infirmary. Where am I? What happened? Why are there crabs in my hair? Shoo, little ones.

Castaway Marnie: Skies above, are you okay?

Castaway Marnie: I was fishing over on the far shore when I heard a crash, and then I saw you tumble onto the sand!

Castaway Marnie: What is your name? Where did you come from? Are you hurt?

Castaway Marnie: I'm Marnie.

Scholar Clio: Ebonhawke... This is good-bye. I hope it won't be long before I see your great wings again.

Scholar Clio: Protect our people until I return with a cure. I promise I'll be back.

Astral Ward Researcher Clio: If there's anything that could solve the puzzle of the Branded, it would be here, in Orr.

Astral Ward Researcher Clio: Despite Kralkatorrik's death, his shadow still hangs over Tyria.

Astral Ward Researcher Clio: I will see to it that his influence is wiped away once and for all.

On returning the memories

Castaway Clio: You—how did you find them?

Castaway Clio: I remember it all now—my past, my days with the ward...

Castaway Clio: Perhaps that was a nasty side effect of tinkering with the Branded and their sickness.

Castaway Clio: I feel...whole, once more. But overwhelmed. It's all too much—

Castaway Clio: Oh, what do I do? There's so much good I could do on the mainland with what I've learned here, and I made a promise...

Castaway Clio: But the ward was never the family that Marnie and Cassi and so many of the Hullgardeners have become for me.

Castaway Clio: Do I rejoin the ward and my old life? Or do I stay here on Castora and continue my new one?

Castaway Clio: It's... It's a lot to process. You saw all the memories, what do you think? Should I see about rejoining the ward and my old life? Or stay here on Castora and live my new one?

I think you should rejoin the Astral Ward.

Castaway Clio: Rejoin the ward—yes, I think I will.

Castaway Clio: No matter how I feel about Isgarren's aims and the ward as a whole, I made a promise to the people of Ebonhawke.

Castaway Clio: Perhaps Marnie and Cassi would even come with me—we could face the future together.

Castaway Clio: I won't let one accident stop me from healing the Branded! Thank you, thank you!

Castaway Clio: Stay on Castora... I believe you're right.

Castaway Clio: I can continue my work here—I'm certain this island hasn't shared all its secrets with me yet.

Castaway Clio: I have as much responsibility to my new family as I did to those in Ebonhawke—they look after me, and I look after them.
