Contributing actions[edit]
- Create and turn in items for Mori Village — 20% heart progress. The item available to create cycles through daily. The mechanic involves collecting three components in a Collection Basket (which is obtained upon interacting with one of the components) for 2% heart progress[verification requested] each, combining them together, then giving the item to a villager.
- Arrows require a Sapling (4%), feathers from a Bird Nest (4%), and Arrowheads (4%); combine the three components at a Fletcher's Workbench, and then carry to the Mori Fletcher (20%).
- Food requires Spices, Firewood, and Lutgardis Trout from fishing; combine the three components at a Cooking Fire (see symbol), then carry the meal to the Mori Chef.
- Blankets require Plant-Fiber Cloth from Sapling, Spool of Thread from Thread, and Tyrian Purple Dye from Lake Sediment; combine the three components at a Sewing Table, then carry to Master Weaver Kubo.
- Pay respect to Tengu Shrines — 4% heart progress
- Interact with the shrine to see if respect is earned by kneeling (candles), saluting (sword) or bowing (scroll).
- Bow to Mori Elders [Wary] — 4% heart progress
- Answer the questions of Curious Youngsters — 3% heart progress
- Speak to Mori Villagers — 3% heart progress
- Mentioning anything other than a compassionate answer will cause them to attack you and reward no progress.
- Speak to or fight with Impressionable Youngsters — 3% heart progress
- Defeat Suspicious Tengu — 2% heart progress
- Destroy Brotherhood Listening Devices — 2% heart progress
- Reset Perimeter Defense traps — 2% heart progress
- Turn in a Scouting Report to Eiko — 2% heart progress
- Kill Speakers and Jade Brotherhood enemies, Kirin, and hostile animals — 2% heart progress

Notes[edit]
- After March 29, 2022 Update, The type of objects made for assisting the tengu crafters for the Mori Village renown heart will now properly cycle through all of the daily options.
- May need to unequip and re-equip your basket using the Stow Basket and Equip Basket special action skills to submit materials for the crafting element of the heart quest.
