Help Jan reconnect with their family's past by cleansing the site with Lutgardis music is a level 80 event in the Echovald Wilds.
Objectives[edit]
- Speak with Jan or their assistant to receive a Lutgardis flute.
- Explore the ruins to find records of different cleansing melodies.

Walkthrough[edit]
Cure Corrupted sites using melodies. Use the corresponding melodies to cure either Flora (Sickly plants), Wildlife (Sickly animals), Stone (Corrupted Ruins), Water (Corrupted Water).
With the flute toggled on (the "ribbon button"), you can see spirits that will help you by showing you each corresponding melody to cure the corruption. They will disappear as soon as you toggle the flute off. You can bring up the map while the flute is toggled on to see purple music notes, which show you where the various spirits are located. Toggle the flute off to quickly maneuver around, once you've noted the location of the next spirit you need. Once you've done each of the four spirits, you still need to go around playing the flute to spirits to complete the event.
The melodies are:
- Melody of Water (Spirit of Water): 2-6-7-5-6-2
- Melody of Wildlife (Spirit of Fauna): 4-3-2-6-5-3
- Melody of Stone (Spirit of Architecture): 6-7-6-4-5-3
- Melody of Flora (Spirit of Flora): 3-4-5-7-6-5
The melodies need to be played within a certain time frame to work, so they must be played faster than how the spirits teach.
Learning all melodies will grant the achievement Lutgardis Maestro.

- Vasili Lutgardis: Oh! This corruption is confounding my mind! Woe is me that it has blighted our family home!

- Jan Lutgardis: The songs did the trick, Vasili! I can't believe we used to do this sort of thing all the time. We...we were remarkable.
- Vasili Lutgardis: We are remarkable, Jan... But (sighs) I'm afraid I can't give you my flute. It was destroyed by the Ministry of Purity.
- Jan Lutgardis: Destroyed? Really?
- Vasili Lutgardis: Really. But it doesn't matter. Your flutes are as good as mine ever were. All you needed was the songs.
- Vasili Lutgardis: You couldn't ask for them, and I couldn't offer them. But by dedicating yourself in service, you earned them.
- Jan Lutgardis: I...I see. I think. But how am I supposed to save our family with music?
- Vasili Lutgardis: The answer will become clear, but now it's time for me to go. For all of us to go. But we'll be around.

- This event repeats every 30 minutes when possible, it will start 7-9 minutes after the Lake Lutgardis Fishing Tournament event is finished.
