Ambient Scenes

Using files found of the scenes for the living story NPCs, I've put together the following for character pages. I haven't seen these written out in-game, so they may be off, which is why I'm storing them here until someone can make them align with the game more closely or give me the green light to just post 'em on the NPCs' /dialogue page. There is also some debate as to whether or not certain scenes' infrequent appearance or lack of appearance is a bug; yet another reason I preferred to leave this text here before putting it on NPC pages. I keep forgetting to move and end up kicked for inactivity before I can confirm how they are written in-game or if they are in the game at all. I've definitely heard Taimi's logs in-game.

Much appreciated :) I think I caught the tail end of one in my chat log in some screenshots, but I don't have the format of the full thing. If worst comes to worst, we can always just include them with a disclaimer that the format may not be exactly as it appears in the chat box in-game; imo it's more important we get the dialogue documented than getting the format exactly right (as long as it is clear to readers). One thing though: that dialogue should go on the page for the instance or area that the dialogue appears in, rather than the NPC page. The dialogue on NPC pages should be the dialogue between the player and the NPC, and the quotes that appear when the NPC is clicked on or interacted with, I think. Otherwise some of the pages for characters who appear more frequently would become unwieldy very quickly, if we documented every conversation that character has ever had with any other character on that page. –Santax (talk · contribs) 00:00, 1 June 2014 (UTC)

From the reddit post it states that someone has seen all of them in game so I would say go ahead and put them in under ambient dialogue. We may/may not want to put in a disclaimer that it came from a data-mine and may not match exactly as what is shown in game. I can however confirm that hobo-tron one is exactly as stated. Whoops, looks like I misspelled Shud's name (fixed it). I added wiki code to link her name, which someone with more wisdom may deem unnecessary, depending on where these get placed. Santax, you're right: the NPCs' /dialogue page will likely just forward to whatever Living World/Instance section these scenes get placed into (Cliffs and Pavilion?). Thanks to whoever moved this unwieldy block to its own page.

I was able to confirm/edit to match the in-game syntax of all Crown Pavilion scenes and some of the Labyrinthine Cliffs ones. Specifically, the scenes beginning "Braham Eirsson: Tell me the truth", "Rox: How do you think Jory and Kas are doing with Taimi?", "Rox: Frostbite says..." x, "Rox: For the last time, no", "Heal-o-Tron: Your-information-is-outdated, constable" x, "Marjory Delaqua: So, Taimi, what have you been up to?" x, "Kasmeer Meade: So, I'm exhausted" x, "Marjory: I'm just asking if this is the best time for us to be wasting time" x, "Marjory Delaqua: So, Kas. What did you think of the Zephyr Sanctum?" x, "Taimi: Log entry, Scruffy. I routinely employ cuteness..." x. These scenes are now all up to date above.
