It only seems to be for use on his userpage. --Santax (talk · contribs) 18:40, 8 September 2009 (UTC)

Ya I know thats why I made it and I thought the tags about it containing Anet's property and it meant only for my userspace followed for both pictures. - Giant Nuker 20:00, 8 September 2009 (UTC)
(Edit conflict) The user image tag indicates that. I'm not keen on imposing the user username filename thing from GWW here, to be honest - I'd prefer just leaving it to each user to determine what they should name their images. It seems to me that having the GWW system requires more effort and cleanup than is appropriate for the potential benefit... I dunno. I'll leave it to Giant Nuker. --pling User Pling sig.png 20:05, 8 September 2009 (UTC)
One historic step in the battle to save GWW II from the fail that was GWW User A F K When Needed Signature Icon.jpg A F K When Needed 20:27, 8 September 2009 (UTC) (Where's my slice of the cake?)
I don't think it's a failure, but I don't think it's a considerable success either. It sounds ok in theory, but perhaps not so in practice. As I said, I dunno :P. --pling User Pling sig.png 20:33, 8 September 2009 (UTC)
I dunno, I think certain aspects of GWW failed, and I hope that GWW II is a little closer to what I consider common sense.
e.g. You can delete user space stuff, no it belongs to the community bullshit, another fail imo is that naming files on GWW can easily turn into writing a short novel... ehh, room for improvement, fail is probably a matter of opinion at the end of the day User A F K When Needed Signature Icon.jpg A F K When Needed 20:37, 8 September 2009 (UTC)
I think it's fair to expect people to designate how they intend to use an image in the filename, so they don't upload an image called Norn.jpg to show a picture of their character and such. If you think that including your username in front of a filename is like writing a "short novel", then what are you doing editing a wiki? That said, I do agree that cleanup and monitoring is a lot of effort, would it not be possible to clearly mark on the upload page how to name and tag user images? That would probably cut down on things like this quite a bit. --Santax (talk · contribs) 21:19, 8 September 2009 (UTC)
have to agree with Santax on the image thing. As for deleting stuff from user space...well personally i think deleting user talk page stuff leads to trouble. However this is a debate for another place. -- Salome User salome sig2.png 21:33, 8 September 2009 (UTC)
Eh, iirc, it's User User:Example Name Goes Here, and I don't see how you need User and the username, tbh :/ User A F K When Needed Signature Icon.jpg A F K When Needed 21:34, 8 September 2009 (UTC)
It's necessary to benefit organization. Though it may not be a rule now, you can either start now since it will be a rule, or you can wait and have a bunch of images to move.-- Shew 01:21, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
It might not be a rule, though. I do agree an image name should be descriptive. A character's full name goes a long way in not causing conflict, since they are unique (unless deleted), for example. I don't see why I would have to enter my wiki username alongside that. My sig is just called VipermagiSig.jpg. It has the content in the name, and it's goal. Additionally, it's shorter than User_Vipermagi_Signature_Image.jpg, more descriptive than "1" (<random>also, that image is 20 pixels high</random>). --- Ohaider!-- talkpage 13:12, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
