I think it is a statue of lyssa --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 94.226.51.192 (talk).

I don't see a similarity with Lyssa at all. She's twins, remember? I think it is either Melandru or Kormir. Kormir because the armor fits rather well, and Melandru because the hair/face does and the things on the sides could be plants. -- Konig/talk 22:24, 20 March 2010 (UTC)
I'm most inclined to say Melandru. -- Konig/talk 22:24, 20 March 2010 (UTC)
Regardless of whichever goddess this is, I'm interested in learning how this view of the goddess developed.-- Shew 22:29, 20 March 2010 (UTC)
http://wiki.guildwars.com/images/5/56/LyssaKK.jpg So yeh, I think it resembles Lyssa the most as well. --Naoroji User Naoroji Sigavatar.jpg 22:52, 20 March 2010 (UTC)
Naoroji, do note that is one of many, and is the only one in which Lyssa doesn't have two aspects. I highly doubt that they would completely remove the twin aspect which practically defines everything about Lyssa. It's the one thing that keeps her different from anyone else - it's like removing Dwayna's wings or taking Balthazar's giant sword. Highly doubt that'll ever happen. Also, if you notice just about every one of Melandru's perceptions you see that her hair is very similar to this statue's hair. And note that at the torse, the humanoid aspect practically merges with the surroundings, much like the GW1 statue of Melandru. -- Konig/talk 23:15, 20 March 2010 (UTC)
Arguing from the perspective that it is Melandru because it merges with the surroundings is misleading because the other two statues we've seen in this series also show similar merging - Grenth merges into skulls of spirits and Balthazar merges into wolves. I can't pick if those tentacle things are roots, waves, actually tentacles or just random waves of power - but it doesn't seem nature/earth tied enough for it to be a convincing Melandru. -- Aspectacle User Aspectacle.png 00:57, 21 March 2010 (UTC)
Actually, they don't merge, but get covered by them. There's a difference. As for what those are, I'm guessing either leaves/twisting trees or waves of water. I'm mostly convinced that it is Melandru, but I'm also thinking it may be Kormir - but I don't see any connection with Dwayna or Lyssa. -- Konig/talk 01:42, 21 March 2010 (UTC)
If you have the GWfactions Manuscripts, read through the entry on Melandru: "...Canthan artists often depict her as a sever figure ensconced in an outcrop of Echovald Quartz." Eek. Beware the paraphrase.24.34.216.50 18:38, 21 March 2010 (UTC)

My guess is that this is actually Queen Jennah being portrayed as Dwayna, or something in that vein. CelleyBear 00:26, 23 August 2010 (UTC)

If I'm not mistaken, Lyssa becomes the god of water when abbadon falls (Biography#Human), and the stuff around them certainly seems like water.~Reez 03:07, 19 December 2010 (UTC)

You know, weirdly enough,it sorta looks like Livia. :3 Who said it's a god-related statue anyways? Livia could be a hero to the Shining Blade, thus having a statue of her built? User Balthazad Signature.png 17:37, 20 December 2010 (UTC)

Did we ever decide what the horn-things are on the side of her head? EiveTalk 17:42, 20 December 2010 (UTC)
How...do we know that it's a god? Did I miss something? (Xu Davella 11:49, 4 February 2011 (UTC))
She matches the style of two statues in 'the art of guild wars 2' depicting grenth and balthazar. It is pretty unmistakable that this is part of that set - we just can't tell which god it is. -- aspectacle User Aspectacle.png 12:27, 4 February 2011 (UTC)

This is a statue of Kormir. As seen near the end of this video, this is the statue at the Plaza of Kormir. Each god has a similar statue at each of their plazas. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oxx_sDlFuQw 96.244.240.178 21:45, 24 August 2011 (UTC)

Awesome video, thanks for the info IP. One of those curious questions answered. :) -- aspectacle User Aspectacle.png 00:38, 25 August 2011 (UTC)
I agree, ip. :) It's a very nice video, and there's a lot to learn from it. :D --AmannelleUser Amannelle Me.jpg 01:41, 25 August 2011 (UTC)
Now the question is : why doesn't she have her blindfold on the flags and statue while she has it in the human biography questions...? 213.166.207.170 08:16, 25 August 2011 (UTC)
Most likely because the biography icons are based on GW1 Dervish forms. That is how Kormir's human avatar looked like in GW1. It may be that she got rid of her blindfold, and it is known that the gods have various forms and depictions. Mediggo 08:24, 25 August 2011 (UTC)
Sure thing, I made account so I could comment lol (I'm the IP poster). I found the video, and when I saw the statue, I figured I had to let people here know because I remember reading this talk page before. BoakaN 21:29, 25 August 2011 (UTC)
The actual statue in the game is blindfolded. Arshay Duskbrow 09:31, 29 April 2012 (UTC)
