Necessity

Is this category really needed? Some of the "ranks" listed are more titles than anything (e.g. "Claw of Koda", "Voice of Koda"). The term itself has more of a military connotation I'd say. talk 18:02, 3 July 2019 (UTC)

Considering how many of them there are, yes, I would say it's needed. Whether "Ranks" is the best name or not, that's up for debate.--Lon-ami (talk) 18:15, 3 July 2019 (UTC)

And to be clear, the more vague a category is, the less useful it is. I see absolutely zero value to a category of "things a person might be called that isn't their name." You want to categorize "racial leader," "military rank," sure, maybe. But EVERY title and rank in the game has no business being in a giant category together. - Felix Omni 18:25, 3 July 2019 (UTC)

Social classes? Occupation? Roles? Positions of power? Hierarchy? I don't know how to call it, but I think it's pretty clear, even if it's hard to define with a word.

For reference, things like Farmers or Nobles wouldn't be included here. These aren't "jobs", more like "ranks inside an organization". These are the kind of not-NPC pages you already find inside each organization's category.--Lon-ami (talk) 19:55, 3 July 2019 (UTC)

I see no reason for listing all the ranks of all these organisations which are all so different from each other in one page. This category doesn’t really add anything of value.
